Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved ARRT program or current validated Registry in Radiology Technology.
• Valid IV Certification and BLS from the American Heart Association.
• CT certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.

Responsibilities

• Performs Computerized Tomographic examinations under a radiologist's supervision.
• Ensures quality imaging and prepares pertinent patient information.
• Maintains and operates CT scanning equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.

Primary liaison with equipment service personnel on repair and corrections.* Assists with scheduling to ensure proper coverage and other administrative needs for maintaining efficient department operations.* Provides technical and general guidance over CT technical staff, including reinforcement of adherence to department procedure and confidentiality guidelines.
