Job description

Mayo Clinic is seeking a CT Technologist Lead for a job in Phoenix, Arizona.

Oversees the day-to-day operations of the CT department at both campuses. Assists with supervisory duties and covers in the supervisor's absence. Coordinates work time and time off with the Supervisor. Ensures high-quality CT images for medical diagnosis. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan. Ability to assess patient data and interpret information according to age-specific needs is required.

Five years of radiologic technologist experience required. Experience with CT equipment, accurate exam protocols, 3D image reconstruction, and safety policies is essential. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required. Ability to improvise standard procedures, work independently and in teams, make decisions, and manage patient flow efficiently is necessary. Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Excellent human relations and communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to motivate and influence others are required. CT Tech II experience is preferred.

License or Certification

ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), Arizona CRT, and CTCT certifications are required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained upon hire and remain valid for at least 90 days from the start date. Maintains BLS competency.
