Job summary

North Country Healthcare is seeking a Lead CT Technologist to coordinate activities within the Diagnostic Imaging Department and provide clinical leadership. The role includes direct patient care and assisting the Director in maintaining staff competency and radiology equipment operation.

The position anticipates an hourly range of $39.22–$52.94 with a commencement bonus of $10,000, and final compensation will reflect experience, skills, and applicable factors.

Qualifications

• Lead CT Technologist is a non-exempt role coordinating activities within the Diagnostic Imaging Department and providing clinical leadership.
• Responsible for standards of care and practice in radiology services.
• Delivers direct patient care and assists the Director with staff competency and machine operation.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a role model and provides clinical education to staff.
• Accepts clinical responsibility for the quality of care provided to patients.
• Participates with Department Manager in formulating department goals.
• Ensures proper use of equipment, supplies, and facilities for patient care.
• Ensures charges for services and supplies are generated correctly.
• Collaborates to establish performance goals with staff.
• Maintains preparedness for CMS and state regulatory inspections.
• Maintains ACR accreditation in CT and QA/QC requirements.
• Maintains up-to-date CT protocols and equipment techniques.
• Manages time to meet deadlines and support organizational objectives.
• Completes additional duties as requested by leadership.
• Participates in CT replacement planning and new equipment implementation.
