Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Lead CT Technologist to manage shift operations, ensure high-quality imaging, and support radiologists.

You will supervise staff, coordinate resources, and participate in evaluations while ensuring patient safety and accurate image transmission to PACS.

Qualifications

• One year of acute radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
• Radiology/ CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
• ARRT-CT Certification required.
• Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

Lead CT Technologist leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or staff. Supervises staff in the absence of manager/director. Promotes teamwork and good customer service. Assists in annual evaluations and staff discipline. The Lead CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. The Lead CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.

2. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.

3. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.

4. Radiology/ CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.

5. ARRT-CT Certification is required.

6. Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.

7. Proficient computer skills.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $37.97 to $55.41.
