Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience required.
• Must maintain required hours of continued medical education.
• Must maintain a Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).

Responsibilities

• Lead division operations during supervisor absence, maintaining quality standards across CT services.
• Mentor and develop staff and students, sharing expertise to build a capable team.
• Manage scheduling, inventory, and equipment maintenance reporting.
• Perform advanced CT imaging with precision, collaborating with radiologists on patient care.
• Ensure quality and safety with documentation and accurate processing; escalate incidents promptly.
• Handle patient scheduling, RIS operations, calls, and film center coordination.
• Participate in education and meetings to stay current with CT imaging best practices.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and organized, keeping the division ready for procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead with Excellence: Serve as the division's point person during supervisor absence, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining quality standards across all procedural CT services.
• Mentor & Develop Talent: Train and support new personnel and students, sharing your expertise to build a stronger, more capable team.
• Optimize Operations: Manage scheduling, supply inventory, and equipment maintenance reporting to keep the division running smoothly and efficiently.
• Deliver Clinical Excellence: Perform advanced CT imaging procedures with precision, responding proactively to radiologists and physicians on patient care quality and clinical outcomes.
• Ensure Quality & Safety: Maintain comprehensive documentation, process scans with accuracy, and immediately escalation any incidents, problems, or emergencies to division leadership.
• Support Administrative Functions: Handle patient scheduling, RIS operations, telephone communications, and film center coordination as needed to support the broader imaging team.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in educational programs, meetings, and professional development to stay current with best practices and emerging technologies in procedural CT imaging.
• Maintain Operational Readiness: Ensure adequate supplies are stocked and properly organized, keeping the division prepared for all procedural demands.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required
• Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the ARRT advanced registry in CT
• Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Must maintain required hours of continued medical education
