Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Beavercreek, OH is seeking an Assistant Contractor Special Security Officer – Lead Specialist to manage security programs for SAP/SCI under DoDM 5205.07 and ICD 705.

The role requires TS clearance with SCI eligibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with multiple government stakeholders. The ACSSO-Lead will develop SOPs, support RMF and physical security, and coordinate with CSOs, PSOs, and DIAs for accreditation and audits.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Willingness to take Counterintelligence Polygraph and drug testing.
• 4–8 years of DoD/IC or industrial security experience.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into secure solutions.
• Proven ability to lead projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CSSO to execute security programs for SAP/SCI.
• Serve as alternate security official for SAP/SCI programs.
• Develop and enforce SOPs for SCIF/SAPF operations.
• Ensure ICD 705 compliance for facility construction and accreditation.
• Assist RMF-based information assurance for classified systems.
• Support physical security program execution (alarms, access controls, TEMPEST).
• Conduct self-inspections, vulnerability assessments, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with CA SSO/PSO for facility accreditation and audits.
• Certify SAP/SCI accesses for visitors and subcontractors.
• Develop SETA programs tailored to SAP/SCI requirements.
• Assist with PPPs, OPSEC plans, and SOP development.
• Maintain visitor control and access records for SCIF/SAPF.
• Assist with security actions and indoctrinations/debriefings.
• Monitor foreign travel and annual training requirements.
• Develop and manage risk-based security programs and mitigations.
• Establish and oversee classified material control programs for SCI/SAP.
• Perform annual inventory of classified material when required.
• Write procedures for reproduction and destruction of materials.
• Oversee transmission procedures for SCI/SAP materials.
• Provide detailed courier instructions and security handling guidance.
• Interpret and implement security classification guidance.
