Job Description - LEAD CSP TECHNICIAN (FT; 40hrs/wk) - Temple University Hospital (252461)

Position Overview

Leads and directs the work activities of CSP Technicians related to CSP activities of specific service(s) and program(s). Assists supervisor with training employees. Responsible for receiving, identifying, disassembling, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing all reusable instruments and patient care equipment where applicable.

Qualifications
  1. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  2. Experience: 2 Years in decontamination and sterilization of supplies, surgical instruments, and equipment (Required). Preference for 2 Years in a specific focus area such as Surgical Instrumentation, Information Management, or Department Inventory Control.
  3. License/Certifications: CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician or CSPDT - Certified SPD Technician (Required)
