Qualifications

• Valid Certified Crematory Operator (CCO) designation or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum 2–3 years in crematory operations, funeral home logistics, or a related supervisory/coordinating role.
• Strong organizational, communication, and scheduling skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cremation center operations and back up the primary operator.
• Safely operate cremation equipment per guidelines, EPA standards, and laws.
• Maintain accurate logs and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Coordinate scheduling and staff for funeral services.
• Assist in funeral service operations and driving as needed.
• Ensure all legal documents, permits and IDs are verified before transport.
• Adhere to health, safety policies and maintain company vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
