Job summary

Fitch Group in Chicago seeks an Analyst to cover the Telecommunications, Media, and Technology sector. You will perform quantitative and qualitative credit analysis and maintain financial models, while coordinating with industry teams from the Chicago office.

As a member of a team-oriented environment, you will assist senior analysts in preparing presentations for internal rating committees and help evaluate credits within Corporates and related groups.

Qualifications

• CFA/CPA or CFA candidate preferred.
• Capital markets and/or credit analysis experience a plus.
• Excel and Word proficiency required.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to shift between multiple projects in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing credit quality in TMT sectors.
• Maintain comprehensive financial models.
• Participate in meetings with industry management teams with senior analysts.
• Assist in preparing presentations for internal credit rating committees.
• Contribute to evaluation of credits within Corporates and related groups.
