Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalence; four years of high school education minimum.
• Three years of institution food preparation experience or supervisory experience in a large-scale operation.
• Current Food Service Sanitation Certificate or Certified Food Protection Manager certification (ANSI CFP) is required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and maintains health, sanitation, and safety standards in food prep, serving, and storage.
• Plans, schedules, and publishes menus for general and therapeutic diets.
• Directs and monitors staff in training individuals in custody in food preparation.
• Serves as Food Services Program Manager in absence of the supervisor.
• Performs other duties within the scope of the department.
