Job summary

CFG Health Systems, LLC. is seeking an Obstetrician & Gynecologist (OB/GYN) to provide comprehensive care to female inmate-patients, including pregnancy management, childbirth, and reproductive health services within correctional facilities.

The physician will supervise clinical staff, coordinate on-site and off-site healthcare services, and ensure high-quality care while maintaining regulatory compliance and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completed Obstetrics and Gynecology specialty training.
• Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• CDS (Controlled Dangerous Substances) certification required.
• Experience in correctional healthcare or institutional healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal, natal, and postnatal care, including emergency deliveries (natural or Cesarean).
• Diagnose, treat, and prevent reproductive system disorders and other female health conditions.
• Supervise professional and paraprofessional clinical staff to ensure proper care delivery.
• Chair the Medical Audit Committee and participate in clinical protocol and disaster plan development.
• Oversee on-site quality assurance, infection control, medical audits, and inmate complaints review.
• Coordinate on-site and off-site healthcare services for inmates and referrals as needed.
• Document all patient encounters using SOAP format and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain security and adhere to facility regulations and sensitive information handling.
