Job summary

California Correctional Health Care Services at High Desert State Prison in Susanville, CA, is seeking a Correctional Supervising Cook, CF to supervise meals for patients and oversee therapeutic diets as ordered by physicians. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervises and trains staff and incarcerated workers responsible for preparing meals for patients in a correctional health care facility and oversees the preparation and dispensing of therapeutic diets per physician orders.
• Ensures staff and incarcerated workers follow all departmental policies including Title 15, CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS Title 22, and Food & Nutrition Services Manual.
• Maintains sanitation of kitchen facility and equipment; ensures safety of persons and property.
