Job description

Position Compensation Range: $86,000.00 - $142,000.00

Pay Rate Type: Salary

Compensation may vary based on the job level and geographic location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

The Lead Copywriter develops enterprise communication materials through creative design and writing services to effectively represent products, services, brands, and the organization to customers and consumers. You will apply various communication strategies to create an impression, raise awareness, and encourage a response from the target audience. You will report to the Director, Marketing.

This is a flex office/home role, requiring a minimum of 10 days per month at one of the following locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110; Denver, CO 80112; Eden Prairie, MN 55343; Keene, NH 03431; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Phoenix, AZ 85034. Internal candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of location and will be considered based on the role's needs.

Primary Accountabilities
  1. Develop a deep understanding of the company's brand positioning and communicate it consistently across all channels.
  2. Collaborate with internal partners to ensure brand consistency across marketing efforts.
  3. Partner with teams to understand business challenges and recommend content solutions.
  4. Create relevant and engaging content for key audiences.
  5. Work with peers to develop campaign content that drives business results.
  6. Provide creative and copy direction to designers, writers, and external agencies, supporting brand portrayal and emotional connection with consumers.
  7. Build campaign strategies based on data and consumer research.
  8. Monitor trends and activities to adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
  • Advertising agency experience is strongly desired.
  • Experience with AI is strongly desired.
  • Proven experience in marketing or advertising environments.
  • Experience leading and executing comprehensive marketing strategies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of leadership.
  • Experience managing large, complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy and building.
  • Experience providing customer-driven solutions and support.
