Job summary

VERSANT Media in New York, NY, seeks a Coordinating Producer to lead development and production of television specials, series, and documentaries, adapting podcasts, live events, and existing content into compelling formats. Working with the Executive Producer and partners, you will shepherd projects from concept to delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high editorial standards across multi-department teams.

Must work in NY with flexible hours and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience producing television, streaming, digital, or long-form content.
• Experience managing projects from development through final delivery.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative and editorial execution of television specials, series, documentaries, and original programming.
• Partner with the Executive Producer and internal/external teams to develop vision, format, and scripting.
• Collaborate with editors during post-production to ensure alignment with creative and editorial standards.
• Review and approve scripts, promos, banners, graphics, and other editorial elements.
• Monitor source material to identify compelling content for adaptation.
• Oversee production staff, schedules, and budgets, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
