Join to apply for the Lead Cook - Xtreme Cafe role at Treasure Island Resort & Casino.

Pay Rate: $23.50 an hour with an additional $2.00 an hour shift differential for swing and grave shifts.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Ensure food quality including presentation, portioning, timeliness, and consistency.
  2. Assist with interviewing, training, and scheduling cooks.
  3. Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and execute standards.
  4. Follow procedures for food storage, rotation, spoilage, sanitation, and prevention of cross-contamination, including proper marking and storage of items.
  5. Follow recipes, times, and temperatures to produce quality and consistent products.
  6. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area conforming to Indian Health Service standards.
  7. Assist cashiers as needed, including greeting guests, taking/delivering orders, operating POS systems, and handling cash.
Knowledge, Certification, Skills, and Abilities
Required Knowledge and Certification
  • At least 3 years of a-la-carte cooking experience.
  • Knowledge of kitchen design and operation of grills, ovens, fryers, etc.
Preferred Knowledge and Certification
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience.
Skills Required
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, highly organized, and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Abilities Required
  • Work efficiently and quickly.
  • Follow dress code policies and maintain good personal hygiene.
