The role includes rotating stock, maintaining safety standards, and documenting weekly menus for supervisor review. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of cooking for large groups, supervisory experience, and relevant certifications within three months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; one year cooking for large groups (30-50) and supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have or obtain Serv Safe certification within three months of employment.
• Must possess or obtain CPR and First Aid certifications; Bloodborne Pathogens knowledge desired.
• Must have valid driver’s license and pass TSA MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Plan weekly menus and submit to supervisor with a shopping list for non-donated items.
• Maintain sanitary dining area and kitchen surfaces before and after meals.
• Keep inventory, label foods with dates, and rotate stock.
• Prepare and file internal and external reports as needed.
• Perform cooking duties and operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and assist with events and fundraisers.
• Drive to pick up supplies or food items using TSA transportation.
