The role emphasizes cost control, proper food preparation, and maintaining HACCP standards while delivering compassionate, resident-centered service.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred; HS/GED required.
• Serv Safe certification desirable or required.
• Experience with menu planning and supervising kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef with menu development and staffing.
• Prepare hibachi meals and manage reservations in main restaurant.
• Control food costs through wastage control and stock rotation.
• Schedule staff and estimate labor needs for shifts.
• Supervise cooking, plating methods, and use of kitchen equipment.
• Complete production records and manage deadlines.
