Job summary

Landry's, LLC. in Biloxi, MS is seeking a full-time line cook to oversee preparation, seasoning, and cooking of foods for preplanned menus. You will broil steak, fish, and poultry, toast bread, and prepare desserts according to recipes.

The role requires at least two years of line cook experience in a high-volume setting, a high school diploma or GED, and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays. Food handler certification is expected where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Culinary art courses or equivalent experience.
• Two years’ experience as a line broiler and fry cook in a high-volume business.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Food handler’s card (HLTH card) and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy
• Possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities
• The ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
• The ability to deliver at a service level creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.
• Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
