Hai Hospitality and LORO, an Asian Smokehouse & Bar in Austin, TX, is seeking a Lead Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will be vital in creating exceptional dining experiences for guests, supervising line prep, and supporting service with speed and precision.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with guests and coworkers.
• Detect and identify safety issues and follow guidelines.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stock inventory.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Bend, stoop, reach to access areas and items.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Work in varying temperatures; hot and cold.
• Move furniture to reconfigure seating as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead line cook duties to support kitchen team in delivering great dining experiences.
• Prepare mise en place and cook dishes to spec with consistency and speed.
• Coordinate with front-of-house and kitchen staff to manage flow during service.
• Monitor safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in line prep and station areas.
• Assist in stocking and restocking to ensure smooth service.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees
