Job summary

Tigg's Canteen Services is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Lead Cook for the DeKalb County Jail in Auburn, Indiana. You will oversee daily food service operations and lead inmate workers in a structured kitchen setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility to work varying hours between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
• Ability to successfully obtain clearance to enter the facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct inmate workers in the kitchen.
• Assist with daily meal preparation.
• Prepare, bake, and cook food.
• Follow company recipes and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Assist with kitchen clean-up.
• Work successfully within a structured correctional environment.
