Job summary

Compass Group USA in Anchorage is hiring a Seasonal Lead Cook for 28 days on, 14 days off, starting April 2027 and ending in November. Location is Kiewit - 201 Post Road, Anchorage, AK 99501.

Pay range is $30.00 to $33.00 per hour; remote camp experience is preferred. The role requires preparing nutritious meals to spec, supervising cooking staff, following HACCP, maintaining records, and ensuring safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use. Performs scheduled routine cleaning.
• Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy. Maintains organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated/frozen products.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Assists Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Assists in the cross training of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
