A Lead Cook is responsible for overseeing and participating in the preparation of food items in accordance with recipes and established standards, contributing to the hotel's goal of delivering outstanding service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Lead Cook, you will oversee and participate in food preparation according to recipes and standards, ensuring quality and sanitation. Your responsibilities include:

  • Preparing food items according to designated recipes and standards
  • Maintaining cleanliness and food sanitation
  • Managing guest orders efficiently and courteously
  • Having comprehensive knowledge of the menu and food products
  • Stocking and maintaining par levels for food stations
  • Inspecting all food sent from the kitchen
  • Practicing proper food handling and storage per regulations
  • Monitoring and developing team member performance, including supervision, evaluations, training, scheduling, and recognition
  • Preparing requisitions for supplies and food items as needed
