Job summary

A leading entertainment company in East Chicago is seeking a Cook to join their fast-paced kitchen team. Responsibilities include preparing a variety of food items, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and providing excellent culinary service. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in high-volume food service and must have strong knowledge of kitchen operations and sanitation. This position requires the ability to handle and prepare different food items efficiently and adhere to strict health regulations.

Qualifications

• Five years of prior experience as a Cook in a high-volume food service operation.
• Must have working knowledge of and ability to prepare stocks, soups, and mother sauces.
• Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive service to Culinary team members.
• Prepares food items per ticket order or production requirements.
• Maintains cleanliness of designated areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Expedites completed orders off the line, ensuring compliance with delivery standards.
