Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. is seeking a Lead Cook to join our culinary team. You will be responsible for preparing meals, following recipes, and supporting the kitchen to ensure smooth service across all meal periods.

The role includes mentoring line cooks and prep staff, with onboarding through Rouxbe Online Culinary School to earn transferable college credits. We also offer progressive benefits and a culture focused on caring for residents and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ServeSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
• Experience across full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel or cruise line environments.
• Experience with multiple cooking stations and methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following established recipes and menus.
• Support kitchen staff and ensure smooth service for each meal period.
• Assist in training and developing line cooks and prep staff.
