Quail Park of Lynnwood is seeking a Lead Cook to join our premiere senior living community. You will follow recipes to prepare meals that are fresh, healthy, and attractive, while ensuring safety and sanitation across all kitchen activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years applicable food service experience.
• Must read, comprehend, write and speak English to interpret menus and recipes.
• Strong commitment to customer service and exceeding expectations.
• Must meet health, food handling and regulatory requirements.
• CPR/First Aid and Food Handler credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sous Chef with monitoring food temperatures as per local/state/federal standards.
• Support Signature Dining team to ensure efficient meal prep, service and clean-up.
• Maintain awareness of OSHA guidelines and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in training kitchen staff during shifts.
• May oversee other team members in the absence of leadership.
