Job summary

Cura-Health in Minnesota is seeking a Cook/Chef to prepare nutritious meals per the daily menu and events. You will maintain safe food storage, and follow procedures from the Dietitian and Administrator.

You may assist the Dietitian in department improvements and ensure accurate dietary change records. Responsibilities include handling and serving food safely, supervising the Second Cook and Dietary Aides, ensuring meals are served on time at correct temperatures, and documenting daily

Qualifications

• Prepares and cooks nutritious meals according to daily menu and events.
• Maintains safe food storage practices.
• Follows procedures and standards set by Dietitian and Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Handles, prepares, and serves food in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Ensures meals are prepared and served on time at proper temperatures.
• Supervises Second Cook and Dietary Aides in food preparation and sanitation.
• Assists Dietitian in planning department improvements.
• Maintains accurate dietary change orders and records in the dietary logbook.
