Job Title: Lead Cook - Cass County

Join Canteen Services Inc as a Lead Cook at Cass County Jail, Cassopolis, MI. We are seeking a dedicated individual with leadership qualities in food service.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Seniority Level: Entry Level

Responsibilities

• Lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up.
• Follow company recipes and work well within a structured correctional environment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts (9:30 am - 6:30 pm).

Requirements

• Clearance approval into the facility.
• Previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus but training is available for the right candidate.
