Qualifications

• Ability to follow menus and recipes of some difficulty.
• Knowledge and understanding of inventory controls, purchasing and receiving, and menu planning is required.
• Must have food handler permit where required.
• May be required to obtain ServSafe certification.
• Demonstrated supervisory skills, ability to train, and common courtesy when dealing with others.
• Ability to move and use heavy kitchen equipment.
• Must have good communication skills both verbally and in writing in English.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows all recipes including the most complex.
• Help with inventory.
• Organize recipe book.
• Assist with menu planning.
• Directs employees to needed stations.
• Ensures proper care of food goods and leftovers.
• Ensures efficient use of personnel.
• Manages specific stations (HQ only).
• Other duties as assigned.
