This position will prepare and assist with menu planning and daily specials, supervise and train café staff, ensure high-quality food and service standards, and maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements. The Lead Cook will also assist with scheduling, inventory and food ordering, monitoring food costs, POS and cash-handling procedures, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to effectively lead and support a team, and experience working in a busy dining environment. A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a dining environment, including cooking experience, is required.
