What We’re Looking For...

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Lead Cook to oversee daily food preparation and café operations while providing hands‑on leadership to the team. This position will prepare and assist with menu planning and daily specials, supervise and train café staff, ensure high-quality food and service standards, and maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements. The Lead Cook will also assist with scheduling, inventory and food ordering, monitoring food costs, POS and cash‑handling procedures, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to effectively lead and support a team, and experience working in a busy dining environment. A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a dining environment, including cooking experience, is required. This is a hands‑on position requiring frequent customer interaction, constant standing and walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
