Status: Full Time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Check and ensure adequate supply of foods and seasonings
  • Ensure food is properly prepared for cooking and serving
  • Prepare sauces, gravies, and other foods of medium and higher complexity according to directions
  • Operate various cooking stations and equipment
  • Adjust menu cycles based on food quantities and demand
  • Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas
  • Supervise Cooks and Cooks II, providing instruction and guidance
  • Organize cooking and food storage areas
  • Oversee carving station at banquets as assigned
  • Follow safety rules and keep work area clean and orderly
  • Break down workstation, clean, and restock
  • Create specials for outlets, utilizing both new and dated products
  • Follow sanitation guidelines as directed by health authorities
  • Open assigned outlets punctually as instructed by supervisors
  • Maintain professional conduct at all times
  • Complete projects or tasks as requested
  • Work various shifts, including holidays and weekends
  • Pass a Food Service Sanitation course within one year of employment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
