Job summary

Ortho Molecular Products in Wisconsin is seeking a Lead Cook to join our team. You will prepare and cook meals, uphold safety standards, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment to support our daily meal service.

Under the Corporate Chef, you will help develop menu items, document labeling, and collaborate with the team to deliver a positive dining experience. ServSafe certification and reliable attendance are required.

Responsibilities

Ortho Molecular Products is seeking a Lead Cook to join our team. In this role you will assist with food preparation and daily meal service, while helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment that exceeds cleanliness and safety standards. Your work will play an important role in delivering an positive experience for everyone we serve.

What To Expect

• Prepare and cook meals as assigned by Corporate Chef according to approved recipes
• Enforce food safety standards, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
• Assist and collaborate with Corporate Chef to develop menu items, food prep and daily meal responsibilities as assigned.
• Generate accurate documentation and labeling of food for storage as directed by Corporate Chef.
• Ensure kitchen areas including workstations, equipment, and storage spaces are kept clean and organized
• Evaluate inventory levels and communicate with Corporate Chef when supplies/ingredients need to be ordered Servsafe certification or equivalent required.
• Clean and maintain kitchen area(s) and equipment to meet and exceed all requirements for cleanliness and safety.

What You Will Contribute

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Servsafe certification or equivalent required.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and positive work ethic.
• Understand and accurately follow instructions.
• Ability to work as a team, establish priorities, and be professional.

• The compensation range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications.
