Job summary

Ortho Molecular Products is seeking a Lead Cook at our Stevens Point facility to support daily meal service and food preparation. You will work with the Corporate Chef to prepare meals, ensure safety standards, maintain organized kitchen areas, and document food storage items.

The role requires ServSafe certification, reliable attendance, and the ability to follow instructions while collaborating with the team to meet high cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent required.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and positive work ethic.
• Understand and accurately follow instructions.
• Ability to work as a team, establish priorities, and be professional.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals as assigned by Corporate Chef according to approved recipes.
• Enforce food safety standards, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
• Assist and collaborate with Corporate Chef to develop menu items, food prep and daily meal responsibilities as assigned.
• Generate accurate documentation and labeling of food for storage as directed by Corporate Chef.
• Ensure kitchen areas including workstations, equipment, and storage spaces are kept clean and organized.
• Evaluate inventory levels and communicate with Corporate Chef when supplies/ingredients need to be ordered.
• Clean and maintain kitchen area(s) and equipment to meet and exceed all requirements for cleanliness and safety.

What to Expect:

What You Will Contribute:
