The Tavern Group is a growing, chef-driven restaurant group passionate about delivering inspired cuisine and exceptional hospitality. We are currently seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Lead Cook who thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

What You’ll Do :

As a Lead Line Cook, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining high culinary standards and ensuring a seamless, efficient kitchen operation. You’ll work closely with our Chef and kitchen team to deliver outstanding dishes that reflect both precision and passion.

Your key responsibilities will include :

Preparing and executing menu items to exact standards and recipes

Leading and collaborating with line cooks to ensure service efficiency

Upholding a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment

Receiving, storing, and rotating inventory

Supporting kitchen leadership in daily prep and execution

Maintaining excellent communication with the kitchen and FOH teams

We’re looking for a motivated professional who brings both technical skill and a team-first mentality. The ideal candidate will have :

High culinary standards and strong attention to detail

The ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume kitchen

Intermediate to advanced knife skills and prep knowledge

Exposure to advanced cooking techniques and terminology

A proactive, self-starting attitude and the ability to lead by example

Strong multitasking and organizational skills

Commitment to food safety and sanitation best practices
