Elior School Dining in Maple Lake, MN, is seeking an experienced lead cook for Maple Lake Public School District. The role focuses on supervising a kitchen team, preparing meals, and ensuring high food quality while adhering to NSLP guidelines.

Hours are 7am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday with no evenings, weekends, or holidays. This onsite position requires a high school diploma and strong leadership, multitasking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and assisting with the preparation and service of food items.
• Following established recipes to ensure consistency, quality, and proper portioning.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including the kitchen and dishwashing areas.
• Washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and other kitchen equipment as needed.
• Adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Monitoring food usage and inventory to help control costs and minimize waste.
• Preparing and serving food on the tray line while providing efficient, quality service.

We are looking to add an experienced, motivated lead cook to our Elior School Dining team in Maple Lake, MN. As a lead cook, you will have the opportunity to handle and prepare food while training and supervising a team of exceptional foodservice professionals.
