Forest View Hospital is seeking a Lead Cook to safely prepare, cook, and present meals per hospital recipes for patients, staff and visitors. The role includes training staff and supporting kitchen operations, and serves as backup to the Dietary/Food Services Manager when needed.

Qualifications

Position Summary

Qualifications

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• ServSafe Certification is preferred.
• Experience as a cook in an institutional setting is preferred. Quanity cooking experience required.
• Must be comfortable with scratch cooking, including fresh ingredients, and attention to detail and quality.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions in order to operate food service equipment and follow direction
• Must be able to complete assigned tasks in order to provide an efficient, safe, sanitary, attractive and orderly facility.
