  • Hiring Rate: $16.85/hr-18.50/hr (up to $22.00/hr* w/Tips)

LUN-A-TIC Position Summary

The Lead Cook is responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing and cooking menu items according to Luna Grill recipes.

  • Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Knows and complies with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies and procedures.
  • Stocks and maintains sufficient food levels at line stations for smooth service.
  • Ports food products prior to cooking per standard sizes and recipes.
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, etc.
  • Assists in food prep during off-peak times as needed.
  • Properly closes the kitchen following the closing checklist and assists others in closing.
  • Attends all scheduled team meetings and training sessions, offering suggestions for improvements.
  • Performs additional duties such as dishwashing and bussing as assigned.
