Job summary

J.R. Automation Technologies, LLC is seeking a Controls Project Engineer to lead a team and work with customers while integrating state-of-the-art robotics & technology available. This is an in-person role at our Greenville and Liberty location.

As a Controls Project Engineer, you will lead cross-functional technical teams, manage projects through lifecycle, and ensure cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction. Travel up to 25% to client sites and other JR locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field OR Associates degree with 2+ years of related experience.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• 2+ years leading technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist controls engineers and other staff.
• Identify areas for technical and career development.
• Develop engineering department through leadership, training and continuous improvement.
• Support several on-going projects concurrently, including staffing, workload issues, and meeting project timelines.
• Design controls equipment to meet customer requirements.
• Lead cross-functional technical teams throughout the lifecycle of various projects.
• Assist with the successful management of assigned programs as they relate to cost, quality, timing and customer satisfaction.
