FORTNA in the United States seeks a Lead Controls Program Engineer to drive pre-award controls engineering for complex projects, focusing on standardization, modularization, and alignment with FedEx needs. You will ensure scope, schedules, and budgets meet standards and act as the primary technical liaison between engineering, sales, and FedEx teams.
During handover, you will prepare risk assessments, identify opportunities, share lessons learned, and develop FedEx specification packages.
Lead Controls Program Engineer (LCPE) provides controls engineering expertise during the pre-award phase of complex engineering projects, focusing on standardization, modularization, and alignment with FedEx’s technical and operational needs. They ensure scope, schedules, and budgets meet organizational standards and FedEx’s expectations. Acting as the primary technical liaison, the LCPE facilitates communication between engineering, sales, and FedEx teams to support project execution. During project handover, the LCPE prepares risk assessments, identifies opportunities, and shares Lessons Learned to guide execution. They create FedEx specification packages, conduct periodic audits, and provide recommendations to maintain project success. Additionally, they lead multi-discipline Project Design Reviews and collaborate with the Training team to develop and deliver FedEx specific technical training materials.
The base salary range for this role is 115,900 to 173,800. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
