Job summary

DC Engineering is seeking a skilled Controls System Integrator to join our automation team. You will lead systems integration on diverse projects, guiding from concept through commissioning, and you will design scalable architectures and program PLC and HMI systems. Travel is required (approx.

10–15%), with field start-ups and troubleshooting in industrial environments. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and 7+ years in control systems are preferred; exceptional communication and teamwork are

Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years of experience in control system integration.
Proven ability to execute and deliver projects independently with minimal supervision.
Strong understanding of physical equipment systems (pumps, valves, instrumentation) as an integrated solution.
Deep expertise in PLCs and control system interfaces (HMI/SCADA).
Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong analytical thinking.
Effective communication and leadership across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

Lead systems integration on diverse projects from concept through commissioning.
Design and implement scalable, high-performance system architectures.
Develop and program PLC and HMI systems.
Troubleshoot complex issues and validate overall system performance.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Serve as primary technical point of contact for all integration activities.
