RoviSys Company in Nashville seeks an Automation Engineer to lead projects, translate client requirements into control system configurations, and collaborate with teams to deliver robust solutions.

You will program controllers (Rockwell, Siemens), design electrical cabinets, test configurations, and travel to client sites for meetings and commissioning. A BS in Electrical/Engineering or related field plus strong communication is required.

Qualifications

• 2-8 years of experience in automation.
• Thorough understanding of control system design and coding.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• B.S. in Electrical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering or Engineering Technology or related degree.

Responsabilités

• Owns and leads projects with small to medium sized teams for projects.
• Assists Project Manager in identifying changes in project scope and developing change orders.
• Translates functional requirements to system configuration.
• Designs control systems’ network architectures and control strategies.
• Serves as a technical contact for customers.
• Adapts to new technologies by applying learned concepts and functionality.
• Interfacing with clients in design meetings and conference calls.
• Leading less experienced engineers and taking direction from the project manager or lead engineer.
• Travel to client site for project meetings and system commissioning.
