Job summary

The Columbus Fury are seeking a senior Content & Communications Manager to lead in-house storytelling, owning our social channels, content calendar, and video production. You will translate strategy into high-quality social, web, email, and video content, while collaborating with our agency and contributing fresh ideas across platforms.

This role is based in our Columbus, Ohio office with occasional remote flexibility, and requires hands-on content creation, storytelling, and a strategic

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional content production, social channels, or digital storytelling.
• Ability to create strong visual content and edit short-form video hands-on.
• Excellent writing and storytelling instincts for social, game recaps, and press materials.
• Strong editorial judgment for fast-moving sports or live events.
• Experience with PR or media relations and supporting agency teams.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools, CMS, email platforms, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling photo and video content for Fury channels and edit as needed.
• Own and run the content calendar in partnership with our agency partner.
• Write copy in the Fury voice, not a press release.
• Manage community in real time and respond to fan comments.
• Publish and repurpose content across channels and formats.
