Lead Content Developer & Instructional Designer – Ultrasound (Bothell, WA or Cambridge, MA)
Design and lead development of engaging, high-impact learning content that elevates clinical, sales, and technical proficiency for Philips Ultrasound worldwide.

Your role:

  • Craft transformative learning experiences that empower clinicians, sales professionals, and field service engineers to unlock the full value of Philips Ultrasound innovations and, ultimately, improve patient care.
  • You’ll partner closely with product management, clinical marketing, service, and regional education leaders while steering a small team of content developers and external vendors.
  • Blend instructional design best practices with cutting‑edge media to deliver ILT, VILT, eLearning, simulations, and performance‑support assets that accelerate competence.
  • Partner with SMEs and product teams to transform complex ultrasound concepts into engaging, learner‑centered content aligned to business goals.
  • Lead content development projects, managing scope, timelines, and quality while coaching junior designers to elevate team capability.
  • Publish and maintain global training assets through Philips LMS/CMS, ensuring brand consistency, regulatory compliance, and localization readiness.
  • Analyze learner analytics and feedback to continuously optimize content effectiveness and demonstrate impact on customer satisfaction, sales, and service efficiency.

You're the right fit if:
  • You’ve acquired 8+ years of experience designing and developing multi‑modal learning content in a corporate or healthcare technology setting; you have led small project teams and vendors without direct authority.
  • Your skills include advanced proficiency with Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, and LMS/CMS administration; experience with video production or interactive simulations is a bonus skill.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field; ATD or similar professional certification is a plus.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position. Travel up to 10% may be required for filming or training events.
  • You’re an effective communicator and collaborator who can influence cross‑functionally, juggle multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.
