Job summary

Ladgov Corporation seeks an experienced Protestant Music Director to lead contemporary worship at the Ellsworth Air Force Base Chapel. You will direct rehearsals, lead worship services, coordinate musicians and vocalists, and collaborate with Chapel leadership to create meaningful worship experiences.

The role requires directing praise teams, organizing schedules, and ensuring quality music for regular and special services, with attention to auditions or performance videos as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music or related field, or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• Experience leading contemporary Protestant worship music.
• Strong vocal, musical, and leadership abilities.
• Experience directing praise teams or volunteer musicians.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to complete a vocal audition or submit a performance video.

Responsibilities

• Lead music during Protestant worship services.
• Plan and conduct weekly rehearsals.
• Direct and coordinate volunteer musicians and vocalists.
• Select appropriate worship music with Chapel leadership.
• Prepare music for regular and special services.
• Maintain communication regarding schedules and service requirements.
• Arrange qualified backup coverage when unavailable.
