Job summary

Expedite Talent Solutions in Richardson, TX is seeking a Lead Consultant for Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Consultancy. The role is hybrid, with a 12-month contract and start date of 01 Aug 2026.

You will translate real-world gas business processes into technical requirements, review test scripts, support data migration validation for pipeline and asset data, and act as the primary liaison between operations, compliance, and IT/engineering teams.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years of experience in GIS/related IT environments.
• Ability to translate gas business processes into IT requirements.
• Experience reviewing test scripts and UAT to ensure systems reflect actual gas workflows.

Responsibilities

• Interface between operations/compliance and IT/engineering teams.
• Define and validate gas IT system requirements (GIS, WAM, SCADA, billing, compliance).
• Lead data migration validation for pipeline and asset data.
