Job summary

Moss is seeking a Superintendent in Sarasota, FL to lead major commercial building projects from start to close. You will oversee field execution, coordinate with owners and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality standards are met on site.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years as a primary superintendent on projects in the $50–150+ million range, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple direct reports while maintaining schedule and budget objectives. This is a full-time exempt role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years as the primary superintendent on commercial builds.
• Experience leading multiple direct reports and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and scheduling on site.

Responsibilities

• Participates in preconstruction and aligns Owner requirements with project plan.
• Lead the team from construction start through project close.
• Maintain and interpret the project scope for site management.
• Establish and enforce safety protocols per OSHA standards.
• Communicate progress with owners and management, and prepare progress reports.
