Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction superintendent experience.
• Heavy highway civil construction with underground utilities.
• Ability to manage crews and coordination with subs; safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise foremen and crews; optimize production and track daily progress.
• Use production data to identify and fix issues.
• Evaluate methods to increase profits; adjust resources with Project Manager.
• Confirm manpower and equipment; complete job take-offs with PM.
• Maintain progress and 2–3 week look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors to meet schedule.
• Maintain positive relations with owner, subs, and prime.
• Review foremen's daily timesheets; maintain job diary.
• Coordinate with PM on progress, planning, and changes.
• Document changes and extra costs; coordinate billings.
• Complete contract per provisions; arrange inspections and punch list.
• Notify PM about upcoming equipment needs; perform safety checks.
