Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join its R&D Infrastructure Construction team in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will be the primary onsite leader on assigned projects, overseeing daily field operations, safety, scheduling, and coordination with engineers, vendors, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience managing daily construction-site operations and coordinating multiple field activities
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and construction trades
• Experience using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software
• Experience maintaining jobsite safety and coordinating work in active environments
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction-site operations and coordinate all field activities
• Oversee contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and trades
• Maintain safe, clean, organized, and secure jobsites
• Own site safety and ensure compliance with applicable requirements
• Create, manage, track and update construction schedules
• Coordinate complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Manage site logistics, materials, deliveries, and installation sequencing
• Conduct daily site walks and monitor workmanship
• Support inspections, QA/QC, punch-list completion, and project closeout
• Identify, mitigate, and elevate field issues when necessary
