Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery across projects. You will oversee self-performed and subcontracted work, manage schedules, and coordinate with owners and trade partners to meet contract goals.

The role requires 7+ years on large-scale commercial builds, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of scheduling, safety, and contract administration. A proactive, team-first mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience on large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Experience delivering high-rise, mixed-use, or education projects end-to-end.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• In-depth knowledge of scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and personnel.
• Demonstrated leadership of field operations and cross-audience communication.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and site compliance.
• Aligned with Clark Standards of Excellence: self-motivated, ethical, innovative, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely and quality installation of contracted work on a project or scope.
• Foster safety and quality culture among Clark employees and trade contractors.
• Create and manage sequencing, logistics, and materials tracking plans.
• Ensure high-quality work aligned with project standards.
• Take initiative to deliver projects on schedule and budget.
• Develop and communicate the project schedule and milestones.
• Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing group.
• Cultivate relationships with project stakeholders and lead meetings.
• Represent the company professionally in internal and external settings.
• Understand owner contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements.
• Participate in staff, cost, KPI tracking and close-out activities.
• Proactively identify industry relationships to win work and recruit talent.
• Exceed stakeholder expectations by anticipating needs and goals.
