Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co is seeking a Scheduler to join its Scheduling team in Herndon, VA. This full-time, in-person role involves building and managing construction schedules and coordinating with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in commercial construction management or scheduling, with strong communication skills. Responsibilities include running meetings, maintaining schedules in Primavera P6, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction management or scheduling.
• Familiarity with the construction process to identify and mitigate issues.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in coordinating schedule development with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage baseline schedules using CPM best practices.
• Run weekly meetings for construction schedule updates.
• Create and maintain layouts in Primavera P6.
• Identify variances from baselines and generate custom reports.
• Mentor and train junior schedulers.
